Zeg maar dag
Whether you’re saying goodbye to your preschool, your favorite pencil, that one friend you wanted to play with a little longer, your grandmother, or that familiar place you know by heart, sooner or later we all have to let go of something. But how do you do that? And what if someone says goodbye to you?
In Zeg Maar Dag, three sailors try out all sorts of ways of leaving and staying behind. They wave, disappear, pretend to go, wave some more, hug, sing to each other, and practice staying, even when the other doesn’t. The sadness of missing and the joy of finding each other again alternate at lightning speed.
With few words and lots of music, Zeg Maar Dag gives playful, lighthearted space to big emotions for little people.
This performance contains very little language. The songs are in Dutch, but you will be able to find an English translation on this page when the tour starts.
The creator of this performance, Sara Giampaolo, previously made Doe eens lief and PRRRT PRRRT FLAP FLAP at Maas.

"Wat een mooie en lieve voorstelling. Gelachen en gehuild met het hele gezin. Mijn dochter zat er helemaal in en heeft het er nog over. Prachtig samenspel tussen de spelers, ook tussen de verschillende elementen: dans, beweging, tekst, muziek, decor, zang, licht, interactie.. mooi gedaan!"

"Wauw, wat een geweldige voorstelling. Van het muzikale begin toen we binnenkwamen tot het verhaal, het dansen, de muziek en kinderstem tussendoor en tot het decor; alles klopte. Hoe mooi dat het van ingetogen naar explosief ging en er ook humor in zat. Voor de kinderen een mooie voorstellingen met nog mooiere boodschap maar voor volwassenen ook zeker de moeite waard. Dank!!!"
